How do the light and heating work?
Luma Light combines 660 nm red light and 850 nm near-infrared (NIR) light with composite fiber heating. Light and heat have separate controls. Choose Low, Medium, High, Blink or Pulse using the light button, and adjust warmth using the heat button.
Can I use NIR without heat?
Yes. You can use the red and near-infrared (NIR) light while leaving the heat switched off. Light and heat have separate controls.
Can I use heat on its own?
Yes. Heat can be used on its own with the Light function switched off. Use the Heat button to select your temperature without turning on the red or near-infrared (NIR) lights.
How does prelaunch pricing work?
Luma Light is $69 during prelaunch, compared with the $99 regular price. The planned sale price after prelaunch is $79.
When will my Luma Light preorder ship?
Your Luma Light preorder will ship on or before November 20, 2026. Payment is collected at checkout. This is the shipping date; delivery time depends on your destination and shipping method.
How do I change the settings?
Heat and light can be controlled independently. Press the sun (Light) button to cycle through Low, Medium, High, Blink and Pulse. Use the flame (Heat) button for the five heat settings. Each button's color indicator shows its selected setting. Start at 35Ā°C (95Ā°F) and read the heat precautions in the manual before use.
What do the Heat button colors mean?
Green: 35Ā°C (95Ā°F). Blue: 40Ā°C (104Ā°F). Red: 45Ā°C (113Ā°F). Purple: 50Ā°C (122Ā°F). White: 55Ā°C (131Ā°F). These are device settings, not guaranteed skin temperatures. Never place the pad directly on bare skin at 50Ā°C or 55Ā°C.
What do the Light button colors mean?
Green: Low intensity (Red + NIR). Blue: Medium intensity. Red: High intensity. Purple: Blink mode. White: Pulse mode. The colors are button indicators that identify the selected light setting. Light and heat are controlled independently.
Does the 30-minute timer set my session length?
No. The timer is an automatic shutoff, not a recommended exposure time for every setting. Follow manufacturer-approved skin-contact and exposure limits, check your skin frequently and stop immediately if the pad feels too hot.
Can I use it while charging?
No. Turn the device off before charging and disconnect the charging cable before use. Typical charging time is about 2 hours, with up to approximately 3 hours of total use depending on settings and conditions.
How do I clean and store it?
Turn it off and unplug the charging cable. Wipe gently with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water. Do not soak or immerse it, and let it dry fully. Store flat in a cool, dry place without sharply bending or folding it.
